The European Initiative for Security Studies, of which I am the founding director, is the largest and most diverse network of Security Studies scholars in Europe.

The EISS organizes an annual scholarly conference (held on a rotational basis in a different European country every year), a policy workshop in Brussels, a summer school in Germany (Euro-Swamos) as well as online conferences and training seminars for Ph.D. students and early career academics.
